Cameroun : Don d’équipements au bénéfice de l’Hôpital Général de Yaoundé
La fondation MTN a offert 3 générateurs de dialyse et des consommables le 27 Juin 2011 à l’Hôpital de Référence de Yaoundé. Ce don a permis d’équiper une nouvelle salle de dialyse dont le coût est estimé à 75 920 000 francs CFA.
Le ministre de la Santé publique André Mama Fouda, a exprimé la gratitude du gouvernement camerounais à l’endroit de la Mobile Telephone Network (MTN). La fondation MTN a vu le jour en Février 2005 et compte à son actif, plusieurs œuvres sociales. On peut citer la distribution de 13 000 moustiquaires imprégnées, l’organisation des campagnes de vaccination gratuite et la prise en charge des visites médicales à domicile en faveur des personnes du troisième âge.
