Le ministre de la Communication a rencontré les hommes de média à ce sujet le 29 Juin 2011 à Yaoundé, pour vanter les mérites de la République.
Dans une déclaration prononcée en Français et en anglais, Issa Tchiroma a salué avec emphase les élections de Maurice Kamto et Robert Nkili. Le premier a été désigné comme principal responsable de la sphère juridique des Nations Unies, le second a pris la direction de la Conférence Internationale du Travail. Ces deux succès enregistrés démontrent la vitalité du pays de Paul Biya sur la scène mondiale. Le Mincom a également évoqué l’expulsion de ses compatriotes du Gabon. Il a précisé que la situation est sous contrôle, malgré les tensions observées entre les populations des deux Etats.
